Lower cloud space tier and custom lifespans

I see largely disproportionate the 10$ per month upgrade to 1 GB:
I WILL NEVER, EVER, PAY THAT AMOUNT FOR CLOUD SYNC. NEVER. Period.
So I miss an cheap tier to upgrade to just a little more space. 1$ per 100 Mbytes would be the sweet spot for me, but even for 50 Mbytes I could consider upgrading as long as the price is not over 1 $. Otherwise, I will stay on the free storage option forever.
I also miss more flexibilty regarding what to keep or dismiss. Particularly, I would like to be able to set a default lifespan for chats. For instance, 3, 7, 15 or 30 days. Then, I would like to "star", "highlight" or "mark" certain chats—or even folders—to disregard the lifespan and be kept for as long as they are marked. That would allow to make the most of the space available.
Thank your taking this suggestion into consideration.

Thank you for the feedback. Our cloud server do a lot more things than just storing the data, that's why it is priced that way.
I've made it possible to use any 3rd party data storage to backup/sync using TypingMind extensions, you can see a few examples listed here: https://github.com/TypingMind/awesome-typingmind
Thanks for your understanding!

Make storage upgrades more flexible

The upgrade to 1GB storage is relatively expensive, and more storage than many individuals need. I have a 5 seat license, and the inability to share this storage is a drawback. Here are 2 improvements to consider:
* add a smaller storage upgrade that's more affordable, e.g. 200MB for $1-$2/mo
* make cloud storage upgrades sharable in a family or business. Just like iCloud storage - I pay monthly for 1TB iCloud, and that's shared among my whole family

Can the free sync quota be increased a bit? Because 10 megabytes is not enough when it comes to document synchronization
