MCP Implementation within TM
in progress
Nick Collins
Implement the MCP protocol that Anthropic has just open sourced, so that we can add any of the MCP servers that have been and will be developed to increase the capabilities of TM. Would be extra cool if it were done in such a way that we could use them with any LLM we have configured in TM, similar to what you did with your answer to Anthropics artifacts.

Yep, just came looking for this. I'm going to sub claude I guess to test some MCPs out, but I'd love TM to be able to get in on this huge development!

You guys need a desktop client version of TypingMind that includes MCP (Windows & Mac). This is game changer functionality which is being built by Anthropic and OpenAI and compromises your value proposition.

Add MCP Server Compatibility and Dyslexia/ADHD-Friendly Fonts (Lexend, etc.)

I'd like to request two features that would significantly improve accessibility and usability:
- MCP Server Compatibility
If possible, please add support for MCP (Multi-Cloud Protocol) servers. This would expand the connectivity options and allow for more flexible integration with various AI models.
- Dyslexia and ADHD-Friendly Font Options
As someone with a trifecta of neurodivergencies (dyslexia, ADHD, and ASD), having access to specialized fonts would dramatically improve my user experience. Specifically:
- Lexend font family, which was designed to reduce cognitive load and improve reading speed
- OpenDyslexic and other dyslexia-friendly fonts with weighted bottoms that prevent letter flipping
- Ability to adjust line spacing and character spacing
These accessibility options would make TypingMind much more usable for people like me who struggle with standard typography. According to research, proper font selection can significantly reduce reading errors and cognitive fatigue for neurodivergent users.
This would be an amazing accessibility improvement and would help make AI tools more inclusive for neurodivergent users. Thank you for considering this request!
