Let users rearrange order of models

I'd like to order my custom models (and built-in models) in a certain way in the model list and drop-down list of models, rather than having them arranged randomly (as they are now). It would be much easier to find the correct model.

You can already do this, unless I'm missing the point of your request. In the Models settings panel, hit the three dots next to the search models bar and you can select 'Reorder".
