TypingMind needs option to connect own cloud storage

Have a look at Bolt AI - it has some neat features over TypingMind and you can sync via iCloud, Google Drive etc. I'm in the process of moving everything over and they currently have a WWDC discount of 25% off. It's also available on Setapp by the way. I really like the inline features, which means I can do stuff from other applications. And so far it seems to be as good as TypingMind and has a few features missing, but then has other features which TypingMind doesn't have. But most importantly for me is no monthly fees to sync.

Disappointing direction. While I appreciate the frequent feature updates, it’s frustrating that the most requested feature—custom storage or syncing—is still effectively unusable. Yes, it technically exists, but the limit of just 10MB is laughable, and charging USD $10/month for only 1GB completely goes against the spirit of a lifetime license and the “bring your own API key” model.
I constantly hit the storage limit, which renders the app nearly useless for my workflow. I genuinely regret buying the lifetime license, even though I still like the software overall, quirks and all.
As someone with a development background, I get that lifetime plans offer little ongoing incentive. But they’re also a great way to build early trust and a user base. The solution is simple: honour the lifetime deal for existing users and move to subscription-only for new ones. That’s fair. What’s happening now isn’t.
Another user said it well: we paid for a full-featured app and brought our own API keys—yet we still need to pay extra just to make the app usable. That’s not what most people expect from a lifetime license.

Agreed...seems like an additional Mark up revenue stream outside of the lifetime license and option for those that need it would be awesome 👍🏼 even if like Google drive or something, I'm sure something can be worked out... as this can easily fill up with heavy use of typing mind...
Good thing is someone somewhere will always end up offering something similar eventually 🤞🏼 hopefully with no caveats
